Buckhead, Georgia

•  We were invited to design a pool, pavilion and formal gardens for a house designed by architect Philip Shutze in 1929 in Buckhead, Georgia by the proud owners of this architectural masterpiece  •  Built on the site of the original Italian garden since demolished  •  Portions of the remaining original garden walls and stairs are incorporated into the new design  •  1,200 square foot addition of living and entertaining space  •  New motor court and entry provided for guests  •  New gardens include pleached linden allées, potager, and pebble-paved “fountain room”  •  New pavilion and entry loggia blend seamlessly with original stone, stucco, and lead-roofed Cotswold style architecture  •
